Stayed here for 2 nights as a base to visit the Loch Lomond Scottish Open. The hotel was easy to find and is situated in a lovely position. Booked it through the hotels website on a '2 night dinner bed and breakfast' deal which was very good value. I had asked for a marina view room and was given room 21 which was modern and very nice. I asked for that because I had read another advisor mentioning it. In fact if we had been given a room at the front there is really no view. Breakfast is very good as was the evening meal taken in the huge conservatory over looking the grounds and the marina area. The staff are very good in both rooms. The menu on our 'deal' was not very extensive but what we chose from it was very nice. The hotel was very quiet and lacked a bit of atmosphere, the bar is ok but did not stay in it long. Flat screen television and coffee making facilities are provided, small double bed, comfortable but we were out like a light after walking around Loch Lomond golf course all day! Would probably stay here again.

This hotel was fantastic. It has a comfortable modern interior and is based directly on a loch at Rhu. The surrounding area is beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly and the food at the restaurant was gorgeous. I cannot actually do this hotel enough justice in a simple review. My advice - definitely stay here!!
