Just returned today and I used this site to select this hotel. As always a bit nervous about the selection of a hotel but the reviews here in general are correct. My girlfriend and I have been to Paris before and love it. We have stayed in other hotels and the Derby tour Eiffel is a fair balance. We have stayed in larger rooms but had to walk around 1.5km to the main attractions. This hotel is very well placed for getting to the best places to see and yes the rooms are a bit small but the staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean. We had a maid service fresh towels and bed both nights. I think all Paris hotels are different from some other countries and on balance you are paying for the position here. As with all travelling you have to be prepared to leave some expectations behind in order to experience a different lifestyle. If you've got unlimited cash stay somewhere else if not the Deby tour Eifell is a great base for exploring Paris.
