You would be hard pressed to find a hotel with a better location than this. You step out the door and 50 metres to your right is the Duomo . The rooms are very clean with a modern bathroom, the breakfast was adequate and the staff friendly. The only drawback is the size of the public areas which are very small,but as the hotel was used as a base, this wasn't a problem. If location means everything to you, this is the place to stay.

The Hotel Perseo is a real treasure in Florence. It is about one block from the Duomo. The rooms are clean with very nice bathrooms. We had breakfast each morning and a "happytime" each afternoon. Giacinto, Louise and Tani were very welcoming and helpful with reservations and great directions!
It was very, very hot when we were there but the airconditioning in the hotel was outstanding!
Do not be put off by the entrance to the building. Once you get to the hotel you will be happy you chose the Perseo.
