You couldn't ask for a better location than this hotel. It is right in a main square next to some famous pieces of art and around the corner from the Uffizi. However, the stairs were a killer. There is an elevator but I was too scared to use it. It looked a little shady. The room was clean but very basic (the air conditioning didn't work very well). The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly (they are only around from 8am until 2pm though). It was a fine place to crash while you explore Florence.
