The location was perfect for me, one of the prettiest old hotels we stayed at on our trip to Italy and the staff was incredible. The room was gorgeous and the breakfast was delicious. The actual owners did a pretty good job recovering. . Read review

In a more residential area close to a lovely botanic garden, the setting is beautiful - from the peaceful courtyard to the lobby and the staff are very friendly. Yes the bathrooms are big, continental breakfast is extensive.
