Residenza Il Villino - Florence, Italy     

My husband and I stayed here on our Honeymoon in September 2006. I have been to Florence several times and the hotel was a little farther from the center than I'm used to, but still pretty central. Our room was big and very clean. Breakfast was good - the cappuccinos were great! The best part about this hotel however is Sergio and the entire staff - - all of whom I liked better than my husband. Just kidding... well, sort of : ) Honestly, though they were the nicest people we met during our entire 3 week Honeymoon throughout Europe. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and hope to go back ourselves.

This is a wonderful little hotel!!! The owners, Elizabeth and Sergio, treat you as members of the family and are a wealth of information on Florence. They directed us to wonderful restaurants, helped us buy wine, booked train tickets for us. The breakfasts are more then enough to start the day, the rooms are clean and comfortable, a very good value. We will never stay anywhere else when in Florence.
