We are from Russia and really wanted to visit Italy. Decided to go to
Fiuggi, as described in enternet- one of the most wonderful places in Italy. We liked the town. It is nice, full of fresh air, calm. in general we liked it. We also liked one of the thermal park Bonifacio in it. The park very is nice, full of flowers. As for the weather: one week was hot but another was cold. As for the hotel itself in general it corrseponds to 4 *, the rooms are comfortable, cleaned every day, there is nice swimming pool. As for the food we liked Italian menu, unfortunatelly russian guide Irina was one week away and we had to translate ourselves the menu that was in Italian and we had to purchase dictionary to understand the words, we do not know
Italian. We were the only Russians in the hotel, suppose in the whole
town. In the hotel the service personnel mainly speak italian, animation was only in Italian language, so we understood nothing. We did not like the information desk that was in the hotel about bus schedule because it did not correspond to the real situation. For example: we wanted a lot to go to the sea. Irina- our guide told us to look this schedule and that it corresponded to the reality, on it we found direct bus from Fuiggi to Terrachina (sea coast), we believed her. But at bus station where they sell tickets we found that there was no direct bus, we had to change bus in Frosinone, once
again we precised with Irina and she said that the schedule in the hotel was correct, Ok we believed her, bought tickets and early in the morning came to bus station but there was no bus, we had to go first to Frosinone, ok we did not mind to change one bus. But when we came to Frosinone we were told that there was no direct bus also, we had to change the bus again, but the earliest bus was in 2 hours we thought a bit, got cold and decided to return to the hotel because
we had to come back to Fuiggi the same day. We got cold then and i had to go to the doctor, thanks God one woman talked English and she helped me to come to the doctor and he prescribed me inhalations. But
the most awful thing was that because of the hotel's driver (service)
we were late to our back flight. We paid to the hotel for transfer so
we were in time for our plane. We paid Silva Splendid about 200 euro,
they assured us that we would be in airport maximum at 9.30 a.m., our
flight was at 11.00 am so we had plenty of time. More over we came to
the hotel also by car and liked it. In the morning we were really surprised when saw a car, it was old and produced strange noise while
driving. More over we were stuck in a traffic jam for about 2 hours, the hotel did not tell us that it can appear such situation although they arranged transfer a lot for other tourists. So as a result we were late to our flight. We had to buy new tickets at our expense because could not change our tickets freely, there was such a clause in our plane tickets. Just imagine the situation: you are in a foreign country, your entrance visa expires in several hours and you are late for your flight. Thanks God we had money on our credit card and it took us 40 minutes to find free places for the flight we came frome one airlines to other. It was our Airlines (Aeroflot) that we bought tickets. We took tickets for 23.05 (11.05 p.m.) - was the only
direct earliest flight to Moscow from Rome. so we had to spend a whole day in Rome airport. We were really happy when came back to Moscow. I will never go to this hotel, because they let us down.

There's nothing like the red carpet treatment, which is what is rolled out in the entrance. We were there with a tour group, so we had no choice as to where we stayed, but this hotel was very nice. There are a lot of chestnut trees shading the property, and a few small, round tables set around outside to relax and have a glass of wine. The restaurant/dining area has three glass walls, and if it had been sunny while we were there, it would have been great. The rooms were very clean, although the beds a bit firmer than I'm used to. The pool was closed and in need of repair, and the small grocery store behind the hotel, within walking distance, was a lifesaver. Overall, I thought it was a great place to stay.
