The building has been painstakingly restored, retaining all the original features of its historical and artistic heritage, including the traditional Venetian terrazzo floors, the 18th century gilt-wood window pelmets, and the ceilings with the original exposed beams.
Distant echoes from the orient that had such a strong influence on Venetian style can be seen in the marquetry of the inlaid wood mantel and the partitition of the lobby.
