Blue Moon - Miami Beach, USA 

First of, I'd like to say that we booked this trip for fourth of July weekend. and I did extensive research on tripadvisor before booking this hotel. The staff was extremely nice from check in to housekeeping, bartender, breakfast server, maintanence, and concierege. We had a great weekend, my boyfriend hates to travel but loved Miami and the hotel and being a picky bed peron slept like a rock. It is a great location, 1 block from the beach and is in the middle of everythingThe only reason why I wouldn't give the hotel 5 stars is because every morning we were woken up by a garbage truck since our room was at the end and overlooked the alley (easy smoking access though). Also, our ceiling fan, I turned it on, it literally looked like it was going to fly off and hit us as it was going around, so we didn't use it for the remainder of the trip.

Stayed at the Blue Moon Hotel for 2 weeks. Have to say me and my husband did read this site before booking.. and we had mixed feelings about staying... On arrival to blue moon our room was ready to check in too.. which was great.. First thoughts where nice hotel.. very friendly staff. We had booked a standard room and during the first night our fire alarm kept buzzing to say the battery was running out.. We reported the fault and during the next day it was not fixed so we was upgraded a room free of charge to a nicer room. Hotel does have a fee of $7.49 a day, which you don't get a choice in.. but it worked out nice.. it included a nice breakfast, cereals, bagals, waffels. Fresh OJ, Coffee etc.. The price also included fresh beach towels daily.. sun lounger chairs, and a $5 doller voucher of the hotel bar every day! Okay moving on finally have to say the hotel staff where excellent, very helpful!! Hotel bar staff also where friendly and made us feel very welcome.. Also they don't really charge you for bottles of water and soft drinks.. If you just asking for two drinks.. which was nice.. we would always get 2 bottles of water just b4 bedtime..
