Hotel San Giorgio - Civitavecchia, Italy 

I spent a couple of days at Hotel San Giorgio in Civitavecchia for a combination of business & holiday. As an italian I am used to "fake" four stars hotel, that usually means that a traveller has to spend for four stars and get only three of them. This time i was postively surprised: the hotel is brand new and elegantely furnished, nevertheless all the personell was very kind, friendly and extremely efficient service, as if this hotel has been on the market for years. The position is extremely useful for a quick connection to Rome and the view of the seaside is really relaxing after a day of business work. last but not least the food is excellent and strongly advisable.

I have just come back from a 4 days business trip to Civitavecchia where I stayed at the beautiful San Giorgio Hotel. I was very impressed by the classy top floor panoramic restaurant and its striking view on the Tyrrenic coast. The building is a majestic 19th century palace that has recently been renewed and is equipped with all sorts of facilities. Breakfast is great and the staff is extremely kind and helpful. Highly recommended!
