La Villa - Bastia, Italy 

We arrived at our hotel after driving around looking for it for hours,and were totally shattered when we arrived.The rooms we were given were absolutely dreadful-myself and my youngest two children shared a room and my husband and oldest had a room.Ours had a broken light in the bathroom-which meant that you had to have the door open whilst using the loo-nice!The beds were crawling with God knows what,although you couldn't sleep anyway,as it was too noisy.My husbands room had a bathroom that was so small,they had to stand in the shower to have a wee in the loo!!!Our shower was so small that when I dropped my shower gel,I had to stand outside the shower to pick it up!On walking through the lobby,I tripped on the rug,and hurt my knee-after 5 minutes of loud wailing,I was finally helped by staff.I had an ice-pack shoved up my trouser leg,and was told to go back to my room-I think I was making the place look untidy... When we checked out,they tried to charge us for our stay,even though it had been paid for several months earlier.I do not recomend this 'hotel',and thank God we only had to stay for one night,as we had a luxury villa booked.I think I would have put a rpoe around my neck if i'd had to stay in that place another night!
