Centro Vacanze Pra' delle Torri - Caorle, Italy 

Just back for 10 nights at Pra'delle Torri. Was a little apprehensive at going to a holiday park for the 1st time, but it was absolutely fantastic! I had 3 kids with me, 7, 9 and 13 and they all had a ball! So much so, we are booking to return with all my family! The kids were entertained from the minute they got up, played football, took part in the day time activities or else went on the bikes. I loved the pool entertainment, aqua aerobics or else the beach party! Park was very reasonable priced food, the supermarket had everything we needed including mosquito candles!! We came back with money!! That's a first! Took a day trip to Venice and did it independently, meaning it cost us 22.70 Euros each which allowed us to travel on the water buses to the other Venician island ie to visit the famous glass factory! (although a short visit was nice to see!). If you fancy a ride on a gondila then go to the Realto Bridge for it, the gondilas there are luxury next to the ones at St Marc's square! Barter, you can get it for 60Euros!! Breath taking!! I stayed in a caravan with Siblu, the service was excellent and the accommodation was clean and good value for money. However, it was too small and had no air conditioning! A definate must!! When I was on site I visited the other travel operators and asked to visit their accommodation, so I could pick what one I want to return to! The best out of them all was the Elle Vacanze. Their accommodation is the most spacious, modern and has air con! The mozzies, they weren't too much of a problem, yes I got bit, and have never in my life been bitten, but next year I'm taking 'Avon' dry oil spray! Its the best for keeping the Mozzies away and it works!! Cheap too! Hope this helps some of you, but again, if its a holiday for your kids you are after, then they will love it!! Not too many brits there but the Denmark and German Tourists were all very friendly and the park has a great atmosphere! The kids made loads of friends! The weather was fantastic too! Enjoy

just home from 2 weeks stay in this very large site. arrived in venice marco paulo airport used a company called daytransfer.it cost 100 euro each way, the driver spoke excellent english and the new merc 8 seater was great. we stayed in the bunglows, these are quite spacious with lots of room outside for kids to play. there is lots of storage and a big room up the spiral staircase. can be noisey though we had people on either side that had us up really early. we were about 2 blocks back from the pool and this walk everyday was very long and tiring in the heat, i dont know how anyone further back or in the mobile homes stuck it. i would recommned hiring bikes because of how big it is. the mozzies or awful i have never been bitten before and used to live in the us, here i was eaten alive everynite as was my husband, lots of ugly lumps! the food in the resturants i found very poor for the size of the site there should be more selection. as for the super market it was ok but i think again for the size of site there should be bigger. the queue of bread was nearly out the shop every morning and when it was gone that was it. i wished we had hired car, we felt like you were stuck here there nothing to walk to. we stayed belle italia lakegarda last year and you could just walk to the different local towns. we took a bus to carole and it was really nice village. a week would be fine just staying in the site but 2 weeks it starts to get a bit boring! theres even only so much the kids can take with the bouncy castles everynight and the electric bike and cars which they will love and cost 1.50 for 2 min. the pools are good , the hiring of sun longues are expensive at 6.50 a day or 35.00 euro a week but this does make the place alot more relaxed because you dont have to get up early to put down towels, so dont just lie on the beds because someone will tell you its theirs , you have to walk away near the beach pay for them. there is some grassy areas were people just lie on there towels also. lots of people from holland,denmark and i noticed lots of irish too. the beach is nice has some big waves the weather we had was great, just 2 nights we had thunder storms. we did have a nice holiday but i think i will try some where a little smaller that has things to do outside as well next time. and with little mozzies!!!
