My wife and I were booked, in a party of about 30 persons, to this spa resort hotel in Tuscany as a last minute change following problems with another hotel in the resort. The hotel is conveniently located almost in the centre of this spa resort and we were warmly welcomed and without exception were made to feel wanted. The meals were excellent in quantity and quality. Guests had use of an outside pool and very comfortable terrace sitting area. Less satisfactory was the bedroom furniture. Electric window curtains, bare white walls, complicated light switching as well as a large flat screen TV emphasised the trendiness but, no drawers for clothes and no dressing table for make up. High power squirt you everywhere shower, but no where to hang a robe and no where to sit except the loo in the bathroom. But, on balance, we had a pleasant, comfortable time in the Grand Hotel Admiral Palace and with only minor reservations would not hesitate to recommend to any one wishing to visit that part of Tuscany..
