Hi we have just returned from a 4 day at the Regent room 111. Our experience is very positive and similar to that of the vast majority the previous reviews. Would we go there again?absolutely !!!! If you want an excellent location, very good value for money, staff at reception who are helpful 24hrs; Shower was of a good standard-no bath in 111, but there are some I understand; hair driers were available at reception, just call and they bring them to you. Good information supplied on arrival from the Hotel; a Krakow guide book was provided which had excellent advice on where and what to do in a humorous way. The rooms were of a good size, enough wardrobe space and draws, hangers were provided. I enjoyed the fact that the TV didn't have English Channels. We only ate at the Hotel in the morning- which I think was between 7-10am basic but fresh breakfast. There are so many restaurants to choose from we didn't see the point in eating at the hotel, have to support the local economy in other ways. Without doubt the best bit about the Hotel was the Location-you are in Kazimerez and there are scores of good quality resaurants and bars around every corner. I remember one reviwer said that the area was run down- I beg to differ; once you begin to walk around the Jewish quarter you begin to soak up the atmoshere and it does feel as though you have been transported back in time. Many of the bars and restaurants have retained the original features and there is a mixture of brand new and old to suit each person's taste's. The trams and bus stops are a couple of minutes walk away and are very useful- if using the trans don't forget to validate your ticket-( almost like clocking in) insert into an orange colured box on the tram. The walk into town is simple and doesn't take too long. A nice touch from the hotel is that they provide internet access for guests free, there is a small room to lock away your luggage, when leaving. overall the regent was good - we like good value, a decent bed, shower and good customer service it was't world class because we didn't pay for that we got what we expected and more. Enjoy
