My wife and I stayed for three days at Albergo Al Sole. The hotel was wonderful. The staff were plentiful, helpful, and friendly, from the reception desk to the waitstaff and chambermaids. When I asked about doing some sightseeing, they printed out maps, directions, and even lent me a book to take with me.
The room was beautiful, bathroom modern and spacious, and they even upgraded our room upon arrival without us asking because they had a vacancy!
The hotel is located a one to two block walk from the main square, where there are restaurants and shops.
We had a car, and there is a secure garage at the rear of the hotel with plenty of space.
This hotel more than lived up to my expectations!

We had a really lovely stay in this hotel - after five days in Venice this was an extra treat. Asolo is a charming, small hilltown in Palladio villa country: beautiful, quiet, well-heeled and with stacks of atmosphere. There are lots of designer shops, delicatessens and some super winebars and cafes, and some good places to eat. It was a wonderful end to our trip.
The Albergo al Sole is perched at the top of the town square on a steep hill, but easy to find and with private parking at the back. Reception was friendly and helpful (very polite with some pushy guests in front of us), and our standard room was lovely - with a huge comfortable bed, sofa, satellite TV and a great bathroom with a jacuzzi shower and lots of freebies. There is free internet access. The highlight of the stay was taking a delicious breakfast on the sunny terrace on the first floor overlooking the town - it is also possible to have a drink here in the evenings or a meal at the restaurant which apparently is top class (though we ate out).
