Location
There are daily excursions available to all of the towns of Val d’Orcia. All are very well preserved from their medieval eras, and are well known for their local products: Pienza for its Pecorino Cheese, famous the world over; Montalcino and Montepulciano for their wines (Brunello and Nobile respectively); Radicofani for its history, including Ghino di Tacco (during the 14th century it was known as the Robin Hood of Val d'Orcia).
Chiusi was the capital of the Etruscan civilization well over 3000 years ago, where lately 2 graveyards have been found of the 2 kings who based themselves in Chiusi; excavations are still going on in much of the area for more archaeological Etruscan sites.
Orvieto, Civita di Bagno Regio, Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio Cortona, the lakes of Trasimeno and Bolsena are all within one hour’s drive of the Villa.

The restaurant, with outdoor terrace, serves breakfast hich is included in the room rate, from 08:30 - 10:00 (upon request breakfast can be served from 07:00).A light à-la-carte menu is offered for lunch from 12:00 - 14:00, and snacks can be served by the pool from 11:00 - 18:00.
Dinner is served from 19:30 - 22:30 . Enjoy a 4-course menu, excluding drinks, at an additional cost of EUR 30 per person.
During summertime, breakfast, lunch and dinner can be served in the garden, weather permitting, with live piano music from time to time.
