Hotel is in a great location, 2 blocks from the city center. Rooms are small, even compared to the usual rooms in Europe. Most of the staff were friendly with exception of one man who seemed to have an attitude toward everyone in general. Not a bad place to stay. But I would suggest paying a little more at one of the other hotels in the center. (IE Radisson, Plaza Hotel, Centum Hotel). But if you do not want to spend the extra money the Metropolitan is a good place to stay.

Check in / front desk
6.0
Location is great and we were able to find parking easily every time nearby. we didn't expect much based on the reviews and it was an average place, most of the staff is helpful, some are a little indifferent. there are mini fridges in the rooms but they don't work. we bought beer and then realized this so we were allowed to put it in the kitchen downstairs. the next day the beer was gone and the front desk said that the cleaning people probably took it. it was all good, they sent the cleaners out to get new beer. the room is very small but tolerable, the street was actually quiet but the rooms themselves have thin walls but we're used to sleeping through sirens and car alarms in new york so, easy to look past. there was no rhyme or reason to how the room was cleaned. we had two used towels hanging next to each other and when the room was cleaned only one of the towels was replaced w/ a new one. and some times they were left, dirty glasses never replaced. trash sometimes emptied, sometimes not. just some odd stuff but the city is super expensive so i'd rather save money on a hotel. you're traveling! you shouldn't be spending too much time in your hotel anyway.
