As a recently graduated uni student, my two friends and I were looking forward to a break and a good time. We are ages 22, 23 and 25 so don't think that people in their 20's are going to love this hotel just because they are in their 20's. Our room was absolutely tiny with three beds crammed in, we had to move a bed every time we wanted to open the balcony door, there was blood in our beds, cigarette burns all other the sheets and our curtain was held together with duct tape. The lunch was horrible and they then served the exact same food (probably leftovers) for dinner. We constantly felt intimidated by the german students and had to duck for cover when we had chairs, glasses and other objects thrown from balconys at us and other tourists. I stood on the balcony one afternoon to have beer poured onto my head from above! I witnessed a glass being thrown down and broken glass falling into the pool which I immediately reported, despite promises being made by hotel staff to clean the pool, a young scottish boy ended up in hospital the following day after cutting his foot on the glass. We had no sleep, and our door ended up with several dents from german students attempting to kick it down night after night (You may notice staff constantly painting the doors while you are there, this is why). A British couple had their room broken into and were spat on in their beds! One of my friends began sleepwalking and talking halfway through the holiday when we managed to get sleep, wandering around our beds asking us 'How can I get out? I've got to get out!' It is a great shame as some of the hotel staff were very nice but seem resigned to the problems as I suppose I would be if I had worked there for any length of time. A man was stabbed outside the hotel on the first night and two girls were raped and murdered in the town. A British family managed to complain enough to get moved over to the Palace which was a lovely hotel, they spent 2 and a half hours in the managers office and we then spent a night in their hotel with them, which is not allowed, but a great last night to our holiday. Our drinks were never empty and we could finally relax and have the laugh that we went away for. A few people have commented that if you have a cheap deal then what do you expect? I have paid a lot less for the same type of holiday in Mallorca, Tenerife and Tunisia and have loved every minute of those. I am now planning another holiday before the end of the summer to relax and get over this one!

What can we say about this place? NOT a lot really. They should have at least put a minus rating on here as this so called hotel would easily get a -10. The only thing we could say was the room was cleaned. The whole place was shabby from the reception area to the mould on the bathroom tiles!
We didn't read the reviews until after the confirmation came through of our booking as this wasn't the original hotel booked. We have stayed in many places around the world but I can honestly say a YMCA would have been better this worse then 3rd rate youth hostel.
The food was a nightmare I tried a breakfast consisting of a bread roll with ham and cheese with so called butter. My boyfriend refused to even touch it saying the bacon looked like congealed fat. Even the coffee was undrinkable. We went to dinner just to see what was on offer, this wasn’t a good idea.
At least we could leave the place and only slept there. We felt really sorry for the people on a self inclusive budget with children who had no means of escape.
There was a bit of noise but not from the Germans just drunk Scottish.
What a disappointment we really have no idea how this establishment has a 3* rating and how they have the audacity to advertise the photos they have on line as these photos are either many years old or this a totally different hotel. Well the restaurant certainly doesn’t resemble the photos in any way shape or form. I would relate these photos to a 90 year old woman with their wrinkles airbrushed.
