Home Luxury apartments are in a prime location in the heart of the city centre of Reykjavík, overlooking the offices of Iceland’s Prime Minister.

Laugavegur, Iceland's biggest & most popular shopping street, is on the doorstep. Laugavegur has a wide selection of shops and restaurants. It is also the home to many pubs, bars, nightclubs and all of the nightlife for which Reykjavík is rightly famous. Reykjavik’s spas and geothermal swimming pool are approximately 1 km away.

Rooms

The hotel offers apartments laid out over three floors, including a penthouse.
All apartments are sleek and modern, but with a typically Icelandic feel, minimalist yet with all contemporary comforts. Each apartment is luxurious, fitted with the best in international design and decorated with Icelandic decorative art.

Each apartment is unique, decorated with local artwork and custom-designed using local materials. Owner/Designer Agnar Agnarsson built the hotel as a part of his homecoming to his native Iceland. He won a W hotels design competition, and contracts with Weston hotels and a number of architecture firms kept him in New York for more than nine years.

The details of the rooms demonstrate the skills he shaped in New York, and the love for his country that brought him back to his homeland. Aside from the gallery-level artwork on the walls, every floorboard, headboard and countertop is custom-built from unique Icelandic products. Local granite rocks come together to form stunningly beautiful headboards in some rooms, and even the lampshades are custom-made, crafted from local traditions in wool art.

The Penthouse is a two-bedroom apartment, more playful than the studios. Luxury touches include the sound sensitive coffee table in the living room designed by the band Daft Punk, the enormous teak bathing tub (dubbed Lucky Luke) in the bathroom, and a private balcony with a retractable protective shelter that allows visitors to cook outside and observe the Northern Lights or the 24-hour daylight in comfort.

All apartments are equipped with large screen plasma TVs and Bose stereos.

The hotel does not have a restaurant but each apartment has a fully equipped stylish modern kitchen. There are several grocery stores within easy walking distance. Upon request the front desk can arrange a chef to come over and cook for you.

The front desk is also able to help recommend local restaurants and make reservations on your behalf.
