The Nordica has superb views from the side overlooking the sea, a fantastic place to go for a swim/relax in an outdoor hot tub and reception staff is friendly and efficient. The furniture is kind of modern looking. . Read review

Views from the higher floor give you a nice view over the bay / mountains and the tours through Reykjavik Excursions run all year round. Great water pressure in the shower.

The views across the city to the snow covered mountains beyond are wonderful and the hotel itself is lovely. The bed is so comfortable its hard to get out of.

The location was great because was a quick walk to downtown, best breakfast of the 30+ hotels I've stayed in this year and service was friendly and competent. Moreover free TV was limited, the food was very good.
