I stayed in The Grand Hotel for 4 days in September and must say, while this hotel is far off being a 5 star hotel - the service was the most friendly ever received in my 20 years of traveling. The food was amazing which a huge choice and great value for money. The bar stayed open till 4am which was great for me and surprisingly my wife could not hear the sing song in the bar considering we were in room 101 - which is a room above reception and bar area. The older receptionist was a little on the narky side on check in but we heard then locally that she is a bit of a legend and narky is good for her!!! A great hotel which hopefully will be able to return to in the future. Well done to everybody there.
