Grand Hotel Tralee - Tralee, Ireland     

when we arrived we drove around the back of the hotel looking for the car park, however there is only a lane which was quite full with cars, we double parked and left our car key with reception -they reparked our car later, we had no problem with this and we felt that the staff were very helpful, reception staff did point out they always state that limited parking only is available however the web site through which we booked claimed "public parking was possible on site" we were happy with our room which was comfortable and the bathroom had obviously been recently renovated, the hotels location is excellent being literally in the town centre, breakfast was lovely, the grand has a genuine old style glamour with great staff -all in all a lovely place to stay

I go to Tralee a lot but usually stay with family. We decided to book into the Grand for a night becuase of the great location and i had been into the pub and restaraunt part before. Here's the thing...for location it cant be beaten, very central. The rooms are spacious but not so modern. They are very 1970s. DO NOT EXPECT the radisson!!The bathroom was very nice and much more modern, must have been recently updated. They are a fine place to stay for the price but not as i say jurys/radisson style modern rooms. The bed linen and the dark wooden fixtures are old fashioned.Saying that we didnt expect a lot and had a lovely time. You can walk to all the nearby pubs and restaraunts!
