Had a one night stay here after booking by phone the same day. Public rooms and reception bright and newly decorated. We were given the keys to our room, which turned out to be at the front with a balcony - but which was already occupied. Apologies were given by the receptionist who then conducted us to another room right at the back of the hotel, along numerous corridors and up various staircases. This room was a double, with a distant sea view, but extremely small and really not suitable for two. It was however clean and bright, as was the bathroom (also small). There were no sheets on the bed but a very skimpy duvet, Despite that, a good night's sleep was had, though there was nocturnal noise from a wedding disco within the hotel. Breakfast the next morning was very good, on a buffet basis and with good service. There was also the benefit of the leisure centre, but at ?125.00 per night for a very small and difficult to access room, I thought value for money was poor, particularly as the nice balcony room originally offered, and which was occupied, had been quoted at the same rate. However the location was excellent, though car parking was difficult.

My partner and I have just returned from spending 2 nights at this hotel and were very impressed. We arrived before 1pm only to be told that check-in was at 3pm (my own fault for not checking!, the receptionist however immediately called Housekeeping and arranged for our room to be prepared. Our cases were taken up to the room and within about 30 minutes the room was made available. We had requested a sea-view/balcony which is exactly what we got. The bathroom was very clean and had a lovely corner bath. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff were all very friendly and the food was very good, we didn't have evening meal but we were very impressed with the breakfast and also had lunch there which was very nice and good value for money. This hotel is a 3 star which is quite surprising as it is more like 4 star hotels we have stayed in. The beach is directly opposite the hotel and it is only a short walk into Falmouth. We would definitely recommed this hotel and hope to return next year.
