My husband and I stayed here when attending a wedding and I would recommend it to anyone. The hotel itself is in an ideal setting for weddings with fabulous grounds throughout. The welcome we got was great, and the service both at the wedding reception and the breakfast the following morning was brilliant. It has been a long time since I have experienced hotel service like it. The bar staff were very friendly and up for a laugh with all the guests and Mr. Walsh is just a lovely man and made everyone feel very welcome. It would have been great to have been able to stay for a few extra nights to get a real feel for the place but it couldn't be done! I would definitely stay again if I were in Cork in the future.

I have to say how refreshing it is to stay in a hotel that the staff know your name!!! I arrived with my husband on a friday evening (the hotel was a hive of activity due an in-house wedding) however this did not impact on our check in which was quick & efficient. We were invited to the BBQ the hotel were hosting that evening which was lovely as the weather was gorgeous! We both had a big juicy steak which was washed down with a few glasses of Red wine (my idea of bliss after a long week at work).
The only downside was the fact we didn't stay for a second night.
We will def. be back maybe with a group of friends!!
