Couple of nights away in Dublin. Booked this hotel via this site but no-one told us that it changed its name and signage to the BELVEDERE. Spent ages hunting for it! The hotel was very pleasent with the beds very comfy. Breakfast was nice. An attatched bar served bar meals and was popular with locals. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was walkable from the top of O'Connell St. to tour buses, Temple BAr and the shopping areas. P.S it rains a lot in Dublin

We took a bus from the airport and got off at O'Connel Street. We then walked up towards Parnell Square. Initially we had trouble finding it as the brown sign was pointing in the wrong direction! However, once we got there, we stayed in Room no 423 and had no complaints. We had tea/coffee facilities, iron and board, lovely bed - I haven't slept so well for AGES!!! The breakfasts were really good as well, hot and cold breakfasts, tea coffee, hot chocolate juice etc. Yogurt, breads, cereals. Fill yer boots!! The hotel to the main 'strip' of Dublin is only 10 minutes walk (that's if you are walking slowly as well), and from there you can catch the tourist bus or any other buses or walk down to pretty much anywhere. Nice central hotel with nice staff and a wonderfully comfortable bed and great breakfasts. Budget hotel? I don't think so!!
