Room was extremely warm in January without any heating - wouldn't have liked to have been there in the summer!

Our room was small but with cool and marvellous view (surrounded by three windows.) Nice to have breakfast in the pub which isnt so common i our country.

General very good impression. Minuses: noisy(room facing main street), air condition and breakfast staff. Plusses: breakfast itself, reception staff, location.

We booked the hotel before reading the reviews. Then we got scared. But we had a great time. The receptionist was pleasant and although the room wasn't massive, it was comfortable and nice. The bar tender even treated us to a free drink. However, at breakfast we were asked if we were residents and felt we shouldn't be there. Despite this, the poached eggs were delicious. After checkout staff happily minded our bag even though it contained a pilfered towel.
