As a frequent traveler to Dublin for business and leisure I always stay at the Fitzwilliam (at least twice a month). Location is top, so are the rooms-I never got disappointed. But that’s something most hotels can offer, but what you can’t find everywhere is to have friendly, polite and professional staff. I think they are OUTSTANDING here! There are always willing to help and make every effort to help you if you have a problem (I always forget my mobile charger…). Another good feature is the complimentary broadband in the rooms-downloads everything within seconds (I am actually sitting in the hotel at the moment) and the restaurant Citron offers very good food for reasonable prices. I know it’s a stupid phrase, but I sometimes get homesick once I get home :-)

Perfect location, There is so much within walking distance. Only blocks from downtown, shopping, pubs, etc. Dublin has great transit and the bus is just a very short walk. It is only a few minutes by bus to Dublin Castle, museum, and all kinds of historic sights. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, The room and restuarant were nice. We really enjoyed our stay at O Callaghan

The hotel staff was most accomodating. We arrived very early in the morning and within 15 minutes our room was ready. In fact, we enjoyed a lovely cup of coffee in the restaurant/lounge area while we waited. It was excellent. The staff helped us organize our trip to the Wicklow Mtns. They even printed out a train schedule when we asked about traveling down to Kerry by train. One staff member named X took the time to leave a note in our room about our tour the following day, making sure we knew the trip was confirmed. Outstanding service! Excellent location! Short walk to Grafton Street. It's not the Shelbourne - but go there for drink - what a gorgeous place where the celebrities and the rich and famous hang out. Can't wait to go back to this hotel. And, the bar stays open for hotel guests until 2:00 AM. So, on the way home from an evening out, you can enjoy a night cap at the bar. Thanks everyone! Colleen and Chris from New Jersey.
