Mercer Court (Campus Accommodation) - Dublin, Ireland

I stayed in Mercer Court last weekend for 2 nights. We were looking for central accommodation at a good price. The reservations staff and the websites specify that this is budget accommodation and not a hotel. We got a great rate to stay which includes continental breakfast. The rooms are basic but you have your own bathroom, tv, linen and towels. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We had our car with us and got free overnight parking with a day rate of €7. The main draw to Mercer Court is the location. It is in a fantastic part of the city just beside the gaiety theathre and grafton street. It is a safe area with loads of shops, bars and restaurants near by. I would definately stay again .

After staying at the Mercer Court i was horrified when I read the comments below! I would never have stayed there if I had read them and I am glad I did not. I booked the Mercer Court as budget accommodation and paid only €82 a night for a double room. The room was indeed basic but it was also very clean and comfortable, breakfast was nice and the staff very friendly. It is very close to Stephens green and the famous Grafton Street (excellent location) on a quiet street considering city centre location!! I could not ask for much more considering the price I paid. Great base to have while exploring the city. Yes I would stay again!
