Apartamentos Marina Internacional - Torrevieja, Spain 

Stayed there for a weekend break in March 2007. They have really good rates in winter, I paid 63 EUR per night for a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment was ok but the bedrooms were tiny. Everything was spotlessly clean and the view overlooking the sports harbour was beautiful. The property also has their own on-site restaurant, 10 EUR for a 3-course menu of the day was pretty good. The only downside is that, appart from the marina, it´s relatively far away from any other places of interest. I would stay there again for a quiet weekend break but the nightlife fans should look for a more central place to stay.

Stayed for 10 nights in March this year for some property viewing. Hotel is quiet and the apartments very nice. We had a lovely view of the Marina and there are several bars and restaurants, all in the Marina complex, but they are quiet (ideal for my wife and I), so if you are looking for an active night lfe, you will have to take the short 10 minute walk to the beach area. The "menu del dia" is good value (3 courses for €9.50 plus a glass of wine), but standards do vary from the same kitchen! Staffing of the apartments' reception is minimal but very helpful. Not an apartment for those who like partying though. Ideal for quiet evenings on the balcony with a good extremely xheap bottle of wine.
