The staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the best I have ever tasted. However the room I stayed in was in need of repair and a good clean. All in all I think I would stay again.

Convenient, small, quiet and clean hotel, I liked the "easy" atmosphere. I could easily stay here again.

My husband and I came to Dublin because our outbound flight was leaving from there. Phoenix Park House is very good as it is 3 min walking from the station where the bus for the airport also leave. This notwithstaning is quiet and safe. However the lobby was extremely tiny an full of luggage of other people and a big dryceaning/pressing machine you could not move - apparently there is nowhere to leave your luggage after you leave the room - and then you have to carry your luggage through very narrow steep stairs, quite unconfortable if you do not have backpack.

It was a few years back, but we had such a pleasant experience there that we plan to stay there when we travel over next summer. It is on the fringes of the true city center, but any closer would likely double the price. The rooms are small, but clean and functional.

Stayed at the Park for 1 night on a boozy night stay, and thats what it was OK for, but I wont be rushing back. As previous reviewers have commented, the sink in the bedroom, the shower poorly designed and leaking water everywhere, cracked tiles round the bath and shower, it really wasnt great. Location was OK for the price, but again, opposite the Probation Service Offices...so a few likely characters hanging about so again not ideal. Bar/restaurant was cold and uninviting, staff all foreign as usual but not at all helpful. Tower was closed so that was a down side as well. Breakfast was below par but edible, so all in all you get what you pay for, lesson learnt . Fine if you plan on getting hammered, getting a cab and not wanting breakfast as you are too hung over
