We staid here for the weekend and thought it was a great hotel. I'd already e mailed the hotel a week prior to our stay requesting a room on a high floor as recommended by other people to avoid the noise from the downstairs club. I also mentioned that I would be arriving earlier that the 2 pm check in time. When arriving at the hotel I was delighted to be informed that our room 506 was ready and that we had been upgraded to a triple room. The room was of adequate size, very clean, beds were a little hard though. There was a good selection of tea/coffee sachets and the iron and ironing board were very useful. The hairdryer was located in the bathroom. The location of the hotel is good, very near to grafton street and there was a good selection of bars and restraunts near to the hotel. As for the noise we did'nt hear any! Breakfast was wonderful, excellent cooked irish breakfast. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

If all you want is a great location, then stay at this hotel when visiting Dublin. But, if sleep is important to you, look elsewhere. The bar next door's DJ was cranking out the tunes until 1:00 a.m. On one night, the racket was so bad, guests were standing out in the halls, asking each other what our options were. The room itself was just okay. It had seen better days, especially the bathroom. We didn't have any trouble with the registration desk, but every morning people were standing there and complaining. At one point, a man was stating, in a clear loud voice, "I...do...not...understand...anything...you...are... saying". I was amused. He wasn't. All the smokers from the bar stand just outside the entrance to the hotel and have at it. Breakfast was just okay; it was a limited buffet.

had read some mixed reviews on this hotel traveled with my sister and mother , mum found the noise to much and didnt get much sleep over our stay . the room was plesant and served its purpose but cud do with modernising as could the bathroom which had a crack in the sink . the reception are and staff were always helpful and freindly as was the breakfast staff .however as a paying guest in the hotel there shud be a area where no matter what the event a resident can get a meal without having to wait a hour or in our case go over road to the hairy lemon after the staff where rude and condesending to my mother . overall was ok but wouldnt recomend to old or young children due to noise
