Cassidys Hotel - Dublin, Ireland

18 months ago I visited a friend in Dublin and had the pleasure of pre-theatre dinner in your restaurant, before crossing to The Gate. As we had received such excellent service and superb food it was a 'must' on my list of places to visit when I returned to Dublin last week. We were not disappointed. The staff were charming and professional, and the food outstanding. Well done for the way you train your staff (as they have obviously been trained to very high standard). Any future visits to Dublin will now be deemed unfulfilled if a visit to Cassidys is not included.

A GREAT PLACE

I stayed the night of St. Patrick's Day and could not have been more pleased or taken care of. The room was very nicely appointed and the staff was extremely couteous and helpful. I would highly recommend Cassidy's and if given a chance, I would stay there again.

The Cassidys hotel is located in a Prime location at the top end of O'Connell street. The rooms are overall average and all have a kettle, trouser press and television. The bathroom is nice but the rooms themselves were like a sauna. Even with the window open and the radiator turned off the hat is the room was unbearable and it was impossible too sleep. The problem was the constantly hot exposed pipe running along the wall. There was no air conditioning so we had to suffer and sleeping was a problem . we know of at least 2 other sets of guests who were very unhappy with this aspect. The staff themselves were efficient and friendly.

Hotel is close enough to walk to most attractions, very close to bus tours headquarters. Staff was nice enough to let us check in early. Condition of room could use some improving, shower curtain was too short and resulted in water all over bathroom floor. In all room was more than adequate. Staff in bar and restaurant very friendly.
