The Camden Deluxe is a nice little place with a good central location for walking around in Dublin. The parking was difficult to locate, and when we did find a garage - we experienced a hit and run and received damage to our rental car overnight. This booking didn't include breakfast, but there were lots of places nearby for that. The staff was friendly and helpful, and when our room key kept deprogramming they were very diligent to fix the problem. This hotel has a lift for your heavy bags, which is nice. Internet was available in the rooms as well.
When we arrived it was Saturday @1am so the street was awash with drunk young people. The front of the Hotel looked like a shop so we thought we in the wrong place!!
When we got shown to our room the windows were open and we could not beleive the noise(music) coming from the ajoining nightclub. On closing the windows it could still be heard, this went on until 6am together with the sound of glass bottles being thrown into a large container. We didnt get a wink of sleep that night.
Next day was very quiet (they were all sleeping it off). Shopping was good plenty of them.
It all started again that night, even after a few drinks ourselves it was loud. People coming into the hotel at all hours drunk making a racked, banging on doors.
This place is fine if you are young and are out joining in but if it isnt the place to be for a quiet break!!
