The eatery connected to the accommodation was very disappointing the quality, preparation of the food was the worst that we have had anywhere at home or abroad. This really needs to be addressed.
having booked a three night stay, I was forced to check out after the first night. I was unfortuntate to be in the room immediately overhead of a party of lads, perhaps a stag party and numerous telephone conversations with reception could not alleviate the noise. This was the worst hotel I have stayed in. The room was basis, bathroom was shabby, old, and dingy. The noise levels were completely unacceptable and having two girls covering night duty was unacceptable when security was clearly needed it wasn't available. However, there was no problem in the issuance of a refund. I will never stay here again and would not recommend this property under any circumstances. I have stayed in other Travel Lodge properties of a much higher standard than this one.
The hotel seemed much further away from Dublin airport than stated on the website, I'm sure it said approximately 4 miles away but cost us 46 Euros in a taxi!!!!
fault on door locked us out of room. one person on reception, on phone being talked through fixig problem with electrics.others also waiting. said could not attend to us for another 30 mins, meaning we'd miss our taxi,so had to spend cold day round dublin with no coat etc. restaurant like McD's in appearance, food not bad but limited. no other choice in walking distance. room fine, spacius, clean and warm
This hotel is a little far from the city of Dublin, but there is a bus stop close by to go into town. We chose this hotel because it was closer to the airport since we were leaving for home the next day. Also, there is a charge if you check in early or leave late. We got there only 15 minutes early and would have been charged, but we just waited in the lobby until we could check in. They also wanted payment in advance.
