- I loved la Stampa, great location just a street away from Grafton St. Fantastic Bar in which you can party till late. Didnt eat in any of the resturaunts but they looked very nice. The Spa was out of this world, so relaxing and very reasonably priced. Bedrooms- well we had a suite and it was100 % no complaints whatsoever pure heaven.. Read review
Posted: Jun 28, 2007 - EllieYork - Room was clean and nicely decorated , only down side was that we were looking out onto a roof. However as I had requested a quiet room and this was towards the back of the hotel we did not feel we should complain. We did have a small problem with the airconditioning not working properly on the first evening, but the staff did all they could and it was working on the next day. We ate on the second evening in the "Balzac" restaurant which was fantastic, so much food we could not manage it all! We also used the "Mandala" spa and were very impressed with both the surroundings and the treatments.. Read review

The hotel's own bar is very cool and very popular, and inkeeping with the rest of the hotel the decor is good - again cool and rather eclectic. The staff and duty manager were (from booking process and all through the duration of the stay) exemplary. They were attentive, friendly and very welcoming - even rebooking treatments that we had missed due to delayed flights. This is a wonderful small hotel to enjoy in the city centre - it's in a lively area so it's not the place for a quiet retreat, but for slice of luxury in a great city - book yourself a treat at La Stampa..
