  • Four of us [girls] visited the Ashling for 3 nights in March, found the hotel really good value, clean and helpful friendly staff on reception especially. The tram stop was 2 mins away ,3 stops later , over the bridge and you are in Temple bar area , which was great, especially as it was the 6 nations Ireland vs Scotland, never seen so many men in skirts!. • 4 of us stayed here and we found the staff excellent and the rooms good. The hotel is away from the centre but We were there for new year (and it was excellent,) when it was time to come back to the hotel about 2 in the morning on New years day, the trams were 20 mins apart so we decided to walk to the next stop but before we knew it we were at the hotel.. The staff at The Ashling Hotel are very warm and friendly. The restaurant was great and the Guinness Lounge was a fun time, can't say enough about the staff. The room was cold, but they brought a space heater which helped. If you go in the winter, the room will be cold but they will do all they can.... Read entire review
