The Luas (tram) stops at Charlemont, on the canal. It is fewer than 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel. The Luas also serves Sandyford Park.
Fashionable Dundrum town centre, home to Harvey Nichols and many other stores and restaurants, is only 20 minutes away.

The hotel is approximately 12 km from Dublin Airport. Taxis are readily available from just outside the airport.
By Public Transport (from Dublin Airport):
Take the Air Coach from Dublin Airport to the city centre. Get off the bus at O'Connell Street. You can then take a bus from Fleet Street to Rathmines. The bus numbers are 14, 14A, 15 and 15A.
By Car (from Dublin Airport)
- From Dublin Airport, take the M1 motorway, following the signs towards Dublin’s city centre.
- On the M1, stay in the left-hand lane and leave the M1 at junction 1, taking the exit for the M50 motorway.
- At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the M50 southbound.
- Continue on southbound on the M50, passing through the toll bridge.
- Leave the M50 at junction 11 and take the exit for Tallaght/Templelogue - N81.
- Drive towards Templeogue.
- Go straight through Templeogue and into the village of Terenure.
- Go straight through the crossroads and continue into the village of Rathgar.
- Follow the main road, passing an Esso petrol station on the left-hand side.
- Follow the road around to the left into the village of Rathmines, passing the town hall clock on the right-hand side.
- The Days Inn Rathmines is located in the centre of the village, on the left-hand side, opposite the Travelodge.
By Car (from Dublin city centre):
- Drive down Dame Street and turn left into South Great George Street.
- Go through the traffic lights and carry straight on, on this road, into Camden Street, then follow the road around to the left.
- Take the next right and then the second left at the Spar shop.
- Continue on over Portobello Bridge.
- The hotel is located on the right-hand side, 100 yards from the bridge.
