Located on the southern side of the River Liffey, Kilronan House is superbly located within walking distance of almost all of Dublin's major attractions: St Stephen's Green, Grafton Street, Trinity College (Book of Kells), Dublin Castle and Temple Bar district.
A slightly longer walk, or a trip on Dublin’s sightseeing Hop-on/Hop-off bus, will get you to the famous Guinness Brewery, St Patrick's Cathedral, Kilmainham Gaol and the Jameson Distillery.
Within close proximity of the Luas (tram) stop and numerous bus stops, Kilronan House’s central location makes it easy to get to and from wherever you need to be.
Travel information
By Car (from Dublin Airport):
- From the airport, follow the signs to Dublin city centre (An Lar).
- After several road name changes, the longest of which is Drumcondra Road, the road name changes to Dorset Street.
- Turn left onto Gardner Street at the Auld Triangle Pub.
- Come around the Custom House building (with a blue/green dome) and cross the River Liffey on Talbot Memorial Bridge.
- Immediately after the bridge, turn right along the river on George’s Quay. This becomes Burgh Quay.
- At O’Connell Street Bridge, turn left onto D’Olier Street and stay to the left.
- Follow the traffic around Trinity College and turn left onto Nassau Street.
- Take the 2nd right turn onto Kildare Street.
- When you reach St. Stephen's Green, turn left onto Merrion Row.
- Turn right onto Pembroke Street.
- Turn right onto Leeson Street.
- Turn left onto Earlsfort Terrace.
- At the end, turn right onto Adelaide Road.
- Kilronan House is only 50 metres down on the right-hand side, at 70 Adelaide Road.
