We have just returned from the Carna Bay Hotel. We used the hotel as a base for hill walking and further acitivity in the area. From the moment we arrived - indeed from the moment we telephoned Mary the proprietress - we were made to feel totally relaxed welcome and at home. The atmosphere could not be more pleasant. We had our dinner in the bar the first night which was an option if desired. The food in this hotel is plentiful and the fish is excellent. Each of the staff we met on our visit was so accomodating - they could not have been more helpful. This hotel gives excellent value for money and we shall certainly return. Ollie and Mary

My wife and myself found this hotel very good value, the breakfast and evening meal was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful, the room was perfect and nice and warm even though it was January and the bathroom also was very clean, we will return to this hotel later in the year, its in a good location for touring connamara
