i've stayed in this hotel in march this year. went there with my hubby & our daughter. chose this hotel because of its popular reviews in the internet. so upon our arrival by train from jakarta, we took a cab straight to the hotel. it was rainy season during then, plus my daughter is not feeling well, we don't quite bother to look out for other hotels. we didn't make an earlier booking bcoz someone told us that its easy to get a hotel in bandung. however, half way to the hotel, the taxi driver told us that we should make reservation at the train station. that way we can get cheaper price. we saw an agency counter at the train station, but didn't know we could book any hotels there and then. when we reached the sukajadi hotel, the outter look really impressed us. but true enough, the room price is very 3x expensive for a walk in guests. i suggest u guys to either make an internet booking first or for those train travellers, make ur reservation at the local agency upon arrival. easy to spot them. but since its raining outside, no choice, we just check-in. first we were told there're no deluxe room available, only the superior room does and cost at rp650,000. they let us take a look at the room 1st though. but when i'm back at the reception counter, another person attend to me and told me that deluxe room is available (rp560,000). huh! i guest the other staff are trying to con us into getting an expensive room. we agreed to take the deluxe room for 2 nights and when we got the room, we found that the room is overpriced. could get a better room at other hotels with the same rate. the bed and pillow really smell bad and toilet eventhough clean but smelly. there's aircond but no remote. have to call the housekeeping for them to bring the remote and switch on. but we couldn't control the temperature when it gets really cold at late night bcoz of no remote. the staff should be more informative. we didn't know that the paris van java fo is just a walking distance from the hotel until the last day we were there.

The reason I decided to stay in Hotel Sukajadi was because My parents went out of town by the time I came back from abroad. My time in SUkajadi Hotel were very unpleasant. First of all, the staff all unprofesional. I came at the hotel at 9 pm and I asked for deluxe room, it feels like they don't like Us to came check in at all. we had to bring our own luggage by our self. After we got to our room, I was so dissapointed by the bathroom and the pillow. The bath room was so corroded and disgusting, and the pillows were smelly. I asked the bell boy to change the pillow and we waited for like 20 minutes for that. Then we got another dirty pillows! by that time I felt so sick already , and just check out right away and seek for other hotel. Really unpleasant experience for that value of money. We spent night at Grand Aquila instead for almost the same value of money and feel so much more satisfied.
