Hotel Ambassador - Karlsruhe, Germany 

Could have been just me but I had a terrible stay here. They overbooked and when they realised lef tme on the phone 10 minutes while they sorted out logistics....I was dialling on international mobile. When I asked directions they went off again and back 10 minutes later. The place itself is quite cheap and basic...not as clean or up to highn standards that I would like in a hotel. It is also not very central although the hotel map would suggest it is. That said it was cheap -50euro and I only stayed as I could get no where else so I suppose if you are on a budget and don't mind being a little away from centre then it is OK.

Vielleicht lag es an mir, aber ich hatte einen schrecklichen Aufenthalt hier. Sie waren überbucht und als sie das erkannten, war ich für 10 Minuten in der Warteschleife, bis alles geklärt war. Ich führte mit ihnen ein internationales Gespräch per Handy. Als ich nach einer Fahrtbeschreibung fragte, wurde ich wieder für 10 Minuten in die Warteschleife gesetzt. Das Hotel selbst ist ziemlich billig und primitiv..nicht so sauber oder so hoch im Standard, wie man es von einem Hotel erwartet. Es hat auch keine sehr zentrale Lage, obwohl die Hotelkarte es angibt. Aber es war kostengünstig - 50 Euros und ich bin nur dort abgestiegen, weil ich woanders nicht mehr unterkam. Wenn Sie also ein Budget haben und nichts dagegen haben, nicht im Zentrum zu sein, ist es okay.
