Siamo stati alla Locanda di Palazzo Cicala nell’ottobre 2007. Siamo arrivati in treno da Roma e il tassista ci ha portati all’albergo in 5 minuti: la posizione è sicuramente molto centrale. L’hotel si trova proprio di fronte a quella che ho scoperto poi essere la cattedrale di Genova, la zona è molto bella e comoda per girare la città anche a piedi, fare shopping e uscire la sera. L’albergo si trova in un palazzo del seicento e la hall e le camere sono arredate con una gradevole commistione di mobili di design e antichi. Il personale all’accoglienza è stato molto gentile, ci ha accolto con un sorriso e ci ha dato molti utili suggerimenti per visitare la città (che conoscevamo molto poco) e mangiare a pranzo e alla sera. La camera era molto grande e luminosa, con computer e TV satellitare. La pulizia era ineccepibile e ho particolarmente gradito la vasta scelta di prodotti che offre il minibar. La colazione era ottima, con croissant freschi di pasticceria e focaccia locale. Mi sentivo un po’ come a casa, tanto che avrei voluto rimanere di più. Sicuramente ritornerei.
