As previous reviewers have said, this hotel is a bit out of the centre - but Budapest is a medium-size city where I would advise buying a travel card to get anywhere, in which case this hotel is in the perfect location.
I'll try to decribe: The two main tram lines in Pest form a 'D' shape, tram #2 runs along the Danube (up the straight of my D), trams #4 and #6 run along the ring road (the curve of the D) - this hotel is located near the bottom intersection close to both lines. Alternatively the metro station Ferenc Korut is a few minutes walk (buy 1- or 3- day travel cards from there).
The hotel is on a quiet side street, rooms very small even for European standards. Breakfast is very good. Do not bother with the hotel bar, the bar directly opposite is 1/4 of the price. Overall a clean hotel and nothing wrong with it, but nothing really to get excited about either.

The hotel quality was very good, rooms were modern and very clean, but a little small. The staff were very polite and helpful. There was free internet, a gym and sauna which unfortunately are under renervation, a restaurant (didn't eat there though) and a bar.
The location as mentioned before is a little on the outskirts, the walk to the centre takes about 15-20 mins, though there is a metro station less than 5 mins away. There is a street about 5mins away (towards town and left), that has lots of restaurants on too. The mini supermarket is still round the corner and is open till around 9.
The area seemed pretty safe but like most of the sub-urbs of Hungary is a bit scruffy and covered in graffitti.
I would stay there again as the quality of the hotel is good and i like lots of walking.
