3We have just returned from a three night break at the Andrassy. The Hotel was situated on one of Budapest's most elegant streets. Its location was excellent not right in the centre but only a 25 minute walk or there was a metro stop just a couple of minutes from the Hotel door, which we found very easy to use, also its just a 10 minute walk from Hero's square and a lovely park. The rooms were were bright and spotlessly clean, the staff so very friendly and we were made so very welcome from the moment we arrived. The buffet breakfast was A1 something for every one.You must go to the restaurant Gundel which is only 10 minutes away next to Hero's square.Lovely atmosphere, excellent food and service a little pricey but well worth it.Also vist the Ruszwurm cafe close to the Palace, lovely little place with a fantastic choice of cakes to die for.
We would definitly stay at the Andrassy Hotel again cannot recommend it enough.
