"Wondeful stay!"Posted: Mon, Nov 23 2009Value:
3We spent 3 days last week at this hotel. We were approached by one of their associates at the train station (they have a booth there) upon our arrival in Budapest. The hotel occupies the top floors of a well kept apartment building across from the Keleti train station. The reception area is sleek and modern, with a good selection of pamphlets, postcards, etc. The staff speak excellent English and were very friendly. We paid approx $80 USD per night (I am sure that people pay more in busy times) for a large room overlooking the surprisingly quiet shopping area around the station with a double bed and two singles. The room had a TV and minibar and was en-suite. The bathroom was imacculate and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was very generous and included in the room rate: scrambled eggs, meat, cheeses, yogurt, cereals, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and a variety of spreads for rolls. The final benefit of our stay was that we were in front of a metro line and had easy and quick transport to the different sights of Budapest.
