My wife & I stayed here for two nights whilst I was on business. The hotel is modern and contemporary in style and is in walking distance of the station. The room was pleasantly large, with a double bed, a single bed and a sofa. Both the room itself and the bathroom were very modern. Of course, someone has to draw the short straw, and our room looked out onto the loading bay/staff smoking area/bins, but there you go. Breakfast is a self-service affair, which is appropriate. We couldn’t fault the breakfast, the coffee comes out of a machine, but is nevertheless far better than average. The room itself seemed well soundproofed and the pillows were nice. Unfortunately, it was quite muggy, and there was no air conditioning. The windows only open an inch, presumably thanks to Health and Safety, and in any case, it is very noisy being on what is essentially the ring road. Reception were regrettably unable to find a fan.

Was very impressed with the Hotel and it ticked all the right boxes, it was also very easy to find. I stayed in a double room which was pefectly fine and had plenty of space, it just looked a bit plain but no complaints. The bar/lounge area is also very nice and spacious and has a warm friendly feel, ideal for enjoying a couple of drinks. I did not eat in the Brasserie at the evening but the menu looked nice, and it was very smart and modern in appearence. I had breakfast in the Brasserie in the morning, which again was impressive and could not be faulted, it is a bit steep in price though - around ?10. All in all this Hotel was a great find and I would definatly stay again and I would recommend it to anyone, it is slightly out of the centre but not too far to walk. I found the staff helpful and they were able to assist me when I asked, it did take me nearly 15 minutes to check out due to the cue who wanted to do the same - but not anyones fault and the staff were again polite and efficient. If your not sure if to stay here or not then I would recommend that you give it a shot, I am sure you won't be dissapointed - I definatly wasn't.
