Recently stayed in the Armada hotel for a family wedding. Had a great time - food superb and the staff were really helpful. Stayed in one of the tranquility suites which is easily one of the most amazing hotel rooms I've ever been in. The view of the coast from the stand alone bathtub in the room was stunning. Although recently renovated, a few finer details seem to have been skipped over. For example, some of the carpets in parts of the hotel (particularly the function room and reception area) looked shabby and dated to say the least. Took the gloss off a unique hotel with great character in an amazing location.

I stayed in the Armada hotel about 2 weeks ago and I must say its a lovely hotel. The staff were so nice and so was the decor of the hotel. They have a 1940's themed Pearl Restaurant which was lovely. I cant get over the decor of the hotel its just amazing. My partner & I were celebrating so we said that we would treat ourselves to their best suite, which was the Tranquility suite. All I can say is --out of this world. Floor to ceiling windows overlooking the ocean. Really worth it.. Its such a great experience. I will def come back and visit the Armada Hotel and will def stay in the Tranquility. Everyone must try it. Amazing
