I consider the Regal to be one of the best airport hotels I have ever stayed in. The quality is consistent and this is a hotel that is incredibly well managed. I have stayed here a couple times and love it. Don?t bother leaving the airport if you need a hotel. Stay here. The convenience and the quality merit the price you pay. And now for my only complaint; I don?t know what happened during my last stay, but at 4 AM, I heard this loud water gushing and thought a water pipe had burst. Apparently, my bed was on the other side of some sort of water supply pipe and I lost a good night?s sleep. In fact, the layover that was supposed to rest me was anything but that. So a word of caution: Be sure to get a ?quiet? room. What I liked best about the hotel was the efficient check in. Despite a large line, there were sufficient desk clerks to process people and it went fast. Yes I had to wait for a bit, but who could complain after looking at how fast and efficiently the staff worked. Someone obviously invested in training and it paid off.

I have stayed at this hotel many times since it is connected to the Hong Kong airport. I usually arrive late at night after a long flight from the USA. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are always clean. Checking in and out is usually very fast and the staff is very courteous.

Customer service terrible, Desk clerks undertrained , management is never at the desk, trainees have to constantly go back for information, Bell hops always hassling you for tips who ever runs this should be ashamed Desk staff totally untrained and inefficient, a waste of time , needs to be much better organized

I was here just one night with the purpose of working through the night to start re-calibrating my time zones and get a jump start on work after a 10-day holiday. You can check in for the airport from the IFC center on HK Island; take the train to the airport for a fraction of the cost of a cab then with just an overnight bag rest comfortably at this property. Hi-speed acess was great, room clean updated and comfortable. Everything I would have wanted. It is not inexpensive as airport hotels go, but well worth the price.

Oh, I do like to be beside the runway!

Stayed for one night at the Regal Airport Hotel in transit in HKG. The Hotel entrance is not properly signposted from much of the Airport Terminal. Check-in was lousy: Long queues and staff disinterest until we complained. The hotel itself has some good designs and modern rooms with comfy beds. However, many of the rooms are very close to the airport runway and the sound insulation is not sufficient to block out the noise of an aircraft take-off. We didn't eat, but got up early to catch a plane - which is convenient from the Regal, without needing transport. However, the hotel needs to improve its service and insulation!
