Corfu Holiday Palace - , Greece 

We stayed at this holiday for the weekend - whilst visiting Corfu to attend a wedding. The hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment and no way can it be classified as a 5*. In our view is little more that 3* +. The rooms are old and looking extremely tired. The service at breakfast was prettly dismal and the quality of the food lousy!! We were a large group staying at the hotel, they offered us what they called a special rate Euros 155 per night. However we then had to pay an additional Euros 80 for a late check out. The hotel is very close to the airport runway and the landing and take -off the planes can be quite noisy specially at night. Personally we will not return to the hotel unless a large refurbishment takes place.

TERRIBLE!!!! It is very expensive, an you really don't receive what you could expect for that money. You have to pay for the drinks- even if it is non-alcohol one, and the worst is, that you have to pay for the net!!! come on! we live in the 21st century, people can not live without net, and it is 5 star hotel- probably still the best on the island! shame!!!! I have been to many many hotel all around the world- usa, europe, asia, but really- never felt so disappointed. the hotel full of VERY old VERY snob people, so have to behave like a aristocrat too. the building is old and dirty!!! people are kind, but they work like robots! one plus is, that it is close to the town centre, but is also very dirty, and does worth coming here. anyway!!! the hotel is in a port, so you have to travel kms to find a beach to swim. so that is hotel Corfu Palace! It is your choice, but I am sure, that I wont come back to corfu, and mainly not to this hotel... it really digusting what they do!
