Location
Once you reach the top you will find the Kasteli (castle) which was ruined by an earthquake almost half a century ago. From here, enjoy endless views to Fira, Oia, Messaria's valley and of the unique sunset.
You should also visit The Icons and Relics Collection that houses hagiographies, wooden sculptures, embroideries and other items for ecclesiastic use, dated mostly of the 17th and 18th centuries. It is also worth visiting the traditional village, where your tour will take you to another Santorini, untouched from tourist intervention. Finally, take some time to visit the wineries of Pyrgos. Rumour has it that the village's vineyards are the most qualitative of the region.
